It's time those bees and flowers started ramping up efforts this season. That's why I designed this special 3-color hand printed screenprint based on a vintage war poster from the UK that encouraged women to enter the aircraft factories. Today, the bees represent our airforce -- there's so much work to do!

Screen-printing, sometimes called serigraphy, was a favorite of the 1930's WPA artists and propagandists. A skilled printer could build by hand the tools to create high quality graphics. Learn more about screen-printing and social movements in this AIGA article.
